Natural linen ground with seven rows of letters (top) and figures (bottom) cross stitched in brown, blue and cream; contains the name of maker's father, "Phineas A. Pomeroy"; worked as if on a handkerchief; 16 3/4" square; fair condition: few small holes, quite stained.,
