Blue pattern of two birds and two animals with ovals on tan background; compound cloth; a byzantine design; purchased for $1.05. Size 30" x 24"; excellent condition; unmounted. "stuffs woven by hand by the peasants of Umbria. The designs are those that from ancient times have been handed down from generation to generation.
