block of red, navy, cream; brown silks of irregular shapes; some outlined with feather stitching; block sewn to a backing; Never finished as no evidence of seaming to other blocks and tacking stitches still present; 8" x 8.5" sq; excellent condition: colors vibrant; mounted with T 47 Donor notes, "there were more sections but these were given away, i think."; made by great-great grandmother Caroline Lewis (Crosby) , of Centerville, Cape Cod, MA
