Tan colored linen plain weave; four raw edges; 7.5" x 9"; mounted with T 38; good condition but sewn to navy poster board. Another label stapled to fabric (unable to remove without dismounting)

“Homespun linen ticking; was filled with straw. Belonged to the Ames family. Flax grown by them.”
Accession quotes donor “This was filled with straw and used on the roped 4-poster beds. Mrs. Ames and Mrs. Wilcox ripped the ricking apart and used it for linen doilies, etc."
