Brocade which appears to have linen warp and colored threads in weft; large scale pomegranate design in rose, gold and tan (natural color of warp) on a black, satin weave background); lettering woven into lower edge but only top half is present so difficult to figure out (Turkish?); 16" x 21"; interlock sewn right edge suggests this was a is “finished” with an interlock over; Worn line down center where had been folded; excellent condition.
