Waist


Pink silk fitted bodice (a small size). Fullness at front is shirred at neck and at center of waist band, forming a "v" effect. Hooks at center back closing with fullness having same treatment. Some hooks buttonholed over with thread. 1/4" black velvet ribbon across back of neck and ending with rosettes at front of shoulder and same trim around bottom of sleeve. Neckline is off shoulder. Sleeves short and puffed with fullness made by 3 pleats in underarm seam. 2 rows of black velvet with rosette make effect trim on sleeves. Good condition. Photographed with 1950C 1890.44, a cream colored China silk skirt with back fullness and two 2" ruffles on the outside of the skirt.
