Dress


Navy blue wool and silk two piece dress; waist is of the woolen material, has front opening with silk on either side of opening; very lovely mother-of-pearl buttons with a dash of green on them; bodice long; back has panel of the silk ending in turn-back tabs with button trim; fitted back; sleeves are long, fitted, with no fullness at top; cuff turned back and trimmed with silk binding and a button; collar of silk made with several folds and turned over; skirt of wool, fitted with front panel, 3 tiers of trim. Shows use of 2 kinds of fabric at same time (see lester, pg. 201). Very good condition: slight abrasion in places.
