Suit

Black wool smooth surface 2-piece dressmaker suit, high notch lapel collar, single-breasted cut away jacket with hand done v-shape shirred motifs at waistline, shoulder and forming ruffled cuffs at sleeve. Excellent condition.

The dress code for G. Fox employees was simple: for women, they could wear navy, black or grey in the winter. In the summer they could wear lighter colors, but only certain colors and their arms had to be covered. Sleeveless tops were not permitted. Men always had to wear a suit, shirt and tie in all seasons, in navy, gray, or muted colors, and no pattern, except a tweed. Staff got a 20% discount for clothing at G.Fox, so many of them bought their clothes there. With 3000 - 5000 employees this helped the company a great deal.
