Black wool gabardine costume; sleeveless banded jewel neck dress with pleated skirt, self belt. Single breasted waist length jacket, 3/4 sleeve, narrow turnover collar and cuffs.
Wool sleeveless dress with a pleated skirt and a self belt worn with the buckle at the back as was the fashion in the late 1950s. A single breasted jacket with ¾ length sleeves and a narrow flat collar and cuffs. Necklace UCONN Historical Collection. This outfit could be used both for work and at evening events with the simple addition of a rhinestone necklace for dress up.
