Pillow case


Heavily starched, white pillow case pillowcase with open end decorated (1-side only) with 2-3” pleated gauze ends of which tipped with 0.5” cream netting. Pillow secured within by 3 pearlescent white buttons; small black ink script at one edge “H Wetmore”; all hand sewn with very fine stitches, long edge shows two rolled hems which are then whip stitched together, end seam is selvedge edge and is whipped stitched; very yellowed; stained; 38 x 27"; one of pair as identical to 1974.?.1244
