white, openwork & embroidered lace with V-scalloped edge; two strips of lace (6.5”x2”) sewn to two overlapping rectangles of white cotton lawn (~9”x1.5”) with edges finished in one row of openwork squares.; total size 3.5”x16”; good condition Accession card notes this is a 13” collar piece but shape of overlapping rectangles seems reminiscent of cuffs. Also notes cutwork and crochet but latter is not present
