Dress

Olive green silk dress with printed pink flowers, pouter pigeon front and epaulettes on the shoulders trimmed with brown/olive silk fabric. There are ruffles of the same fabric at the neck and shoulders. There is a matching felt pocket purse with a pinked felt edge. The epaulettes had a very short life at the end of the 19th century - a nod to the military and a masculine look.
