White, cotton, batiste pelisse, leg of mutton sleeves, low square neck, empire waist, embroidered edging around neck. Very good condition. Worn with 1840.59 . Pink, blue, and white paisley gauze skirt. Full and gathered into black waistband, which is unfinished. 6 yards in circumference Colors still vibrant, structurally sound. Donor: Edwina Whitney
